Every person in this world has a dream of some kind, and it is through their dreams that they continue to live. Dreams give meaning to life, inspire us to move forward, and become the support upon which we build our lives.
The dreams people cherish are different, but for a true believer, the greatest dream is to behold Baitullah (the House of Allah) and to visit Madinah Al-Munawwarah. A believer dreams of the black covering of the Kaaba and the Green Dome of Madinah. He lives with the beautiful hope that one day he will perform Tawaf around Baitullah and have the blessed opportunity to stand before the Rawdah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and humbly offer his salutations.
This sweet and sacred dream lives deep within the heart of every believer. It is this dream that gives meaning to his life and becomes a source of strength and hope.
That is why the poet of Bengal so beautifully expressed this longing:
“The image of the Kaaba rests upon my heart, while Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, lives in my eyes.”
